The history of Auberge du Bonheur

In 1986, Patrick Verbunt opened a venue for parties and meetings in the residence on Bredaseweg: Auberge du Bonheur. He later expanded with a conservatory, where the restaurant was established, and shortly after, he added more function rooms to the location. Ten years later, in 1996, a new chapter was written right next door with the opening of the eponymous four-star boutique hotel with 36 rooms. This hotel was fully renovated in 2015 and remains one of the icons of Bonheur.
